Sleep- As expected Ethan got all the way to sleeping through the night, and then hit the 4 month sleep regression. He never recovered from it, and is currently waking up 3 times a night. Bed time is sometime between 6-7pm and then he is up at 10pm, 1am, 4am, and up for the day at 6am. Although his sleep is horrendous he has still made progress. At 4 months he was 100% in our room in the rock n play. Around 4 1/2 months after we came back from disney we decided to have him start the night in his room, then when he woke up we just quickly fed him and kept him in our room so we didn't bother Aurora. By 5 months we realized that when we transferred him to our room he would wake up every 2 hours when he normally makes it 4, so we started keeping him in his room and he did great! He has occasionally slept in the crib, but due to pretty bad reflux he still needs to be elevated.
Eat- I pumped breast milk for Ethan until about 4 and a half months. After that we switched over to a specialty formula to better suite Ethan's food allergies. He eats 4oz every 2-3 hours. First solid food was apples, second was bananas. Hates vegetables and Strawberries. He loves to chew on meat and loves gerber's chicken dinner baby food. Although he has had tastes here and there he still isn't interested in eating solid foods consistently every day, and he doesn't like a whole lot of food. I put oatmeal in his bottles to help with reflux and fill him up.
Play- He loves being tickled and played with one on one. He started liking the sit me up a little more. He spins the toys it came with. The play mat and jumper are OK and he lasts above 5 minutes in each before he's over it. I have been teaching him recently to knock blocks down. His favorite toy is a singing light up star.
