What life is like currently for us currently:
We moved from Alaska to Ohio. We built our dream house.
Michael is doing great at work. I am still at home with my babies.
I enjoy helping them grow.
We are really liking Ohio so far.
Aurora has gone to montessori school since she turned 3. She LOVES it and thrives off of the montessori style. She started as half day (9-1), but was upset when I picked her up at 1 so she quickly went into full day (9-3). It has helped her a lot socially with other kids. She is very independent. She can write all the letters and most of the numbers. She can write her full name. She can count to 100 and do simple math equations. She recognizes patterns really well. When she comes home she likes to relax and watch some TV. Some of her current favorites are Blaze the monster machine, Ryans Mystery Play Date, and Paw Patrol. She goes to bed 7-8pm and sleeps until about 730am. She still loves fruit and is iffy about meat. Typically she doesn't eat much, but lately she's been eating non stop. Probably going through a growth spurt. She plays soccer in the summer and started ballet this fall. She does amazing at both, I feel like she will be great at sports. We started playing board games and she is obsessed with them, but hates when she looses. Competitive like her mommy and daddy. We play matching games, candy land, and tic tac toe. She had a period of time where she was coming to us in the middle of the night to snuggle, but for the most part she waits until morning now. 5T clothes, size 9 shoes, about 35 lbs 42 in.
Ethan has recently started talking a TON. It started off as a few words here and there. Some of his first words other than mama and dada were animal sounds, the end, doggy, sissy, ten!, thank you, night night, hi!, bye bye, yeah, Rora, and of course car sounds. Now we are at the point where if you tell him to say something he will repeat it. He can roughly count to 10 and can sing some of the alphabet with help. Ive heard him sing "twinkle twinkle little star" SO cute! He loves books. He could read all day. He has started to scribble here and there. His favorite thing to watch on TV is Blippi, He LOVES cars as seen above and he loves being outside. I can't wait for warmer weather so we can go to the playground and play in the dirt. His dairy and reflux issues has eased up a lot by now. I can give him eggs and cheese here and there. He may have a loose diaper the next day, but its not the screaming crying gas issues it used to be. We recently eased up on the reflux medicine and so far he's doing ok-ish. I see spit up stains on his pillow and he's a little more moody during the day, but he's still sleeping through the night and eating. He still hates vegetables and most fruit. Meat and potatoes kind of guy. He has all his molars now, bringing him up to 8 teeth. He was in the 3rd percentile for height at the doctor office. He's a short little guy, but stocky like his daddy. Average weight. His typical day is up at 730-8am, drive Aurora to school with me, come home and play/watch blippi, snack, nap at around 12-2, pick up Aurora from school, more play and food, bath, books, bed. Bed time can be anywhere from 630-8 depending on his mood.
